FUTURE
I could envision email becoming even more important as humans rely on the internet more and more. This could be used to communicate in new ways such as the new google glass or new iphones. Their are going to be numerous other ways that it will be utilized and revamped for different modules but will all work at the same purpose to unite the human race with a simple way of talking while not face to face.
PRESENT
Emails are used everyday in our society whether we know it or not. The internet is needed for us to access such emails and without it they would become obsolete. Emails were the predecessor for the most used service among humans today the "text message" which is simply speaking a differently formatted email. Emails are also used for business school and to tell anyone about all occasions. Without this application our lives would be a lot different in the way that we would have no set in stone way to share and communicate our thoughts and feelings and other important plans
PAST
Main Man- Ray Tomlinson (Inventor of Email)
Was the first man to invent Email, it was used on the ARPAnet system and allowed users to communicate through the computer in a new way then ever before. To achieve this he used the @ sign in order to distinguish the human from the computer and that sign has been used ever since. This all took place in the year 1971. The first ever email sent had the letters "QWERTYUIOP" on it which is also the very top row of your computer board. Because of this great achievement he is listed as number 4 on MIT's top list of Inventors. He has also won a numerous amount of other awards and been inducted into the internet hall of fame. This is very influential in today's society as i will explain on my next post.
